A spokesman for the Palestinian Authority's presidency has described the current government in Israel, led by Naftali Bennett, as "the worst" of all previous governments.
Nabil Abu Rudaina made the remarks in an interview with Palestinian Voice of Palestine radio on Thursday.
"Our people have been confronted by a series of Israeli governments that have destroyed any peace process," he said. The present occupying government has surpassed their predecessors through daily killings and other war crimes.
"The Palestinian leadership is preparing for the legal process to bring Israel to justice in international forums for violating international law," Abu Rudaina warned.
He said Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas had a meeting with US Ambassador to the United Nations Linda Thomas-Greenfield in Ramallah on Wednesday. During the meeting, Abbas warned against any Israeli attempt to change the status and status of Jerusalem. He said such an attempt would exacerbate the situation and undermine the two-state solution.
Abu Rudaina said at the meeting that Abbas had promised the Biden administration a two-state solution, a settlement (Israeli settlement) and the opening of a US consulate (for Palestinians in Jerusalem).
According to the United Nations, between January 1 and October 31 this year, Israel killed 331 Palestinians and injured more than 17,000 in the West Bank and Gaza Strip, including Jerusalem.
At the same time, Israeli authorities demolished 721 Palestinian homes in the West Bank, including Jerusalem. News
